You played. They didn't pay.

What are they up to now?

I would think they would have to put up a list of winners. However, not sure if the names on said list would be real people or not. ;)

too funny yall !

Nice seeing some of the forum members tonight in the NW chat , i hung out and raised hell for 2-3 hours , funny situation when a " mike clone " was in there , and the "supposedly real mike" came in and chased him out , no idea if either was real since the "real mike" misspelled his own name , however the "fake mike" called all members of this forum cheaters ( grabbed SS of that) .

Did a little recruiting while i was there , unbelieveably there was even a member came in who didnt know what had happened :?

Dammit I missed all the fun! Man, seems I always come in too late. When I was there it was just fish woman and toto. Oh well, hopefully I can catch another one like that night shelly and mamapukepuke were there arguing with her "husband". Oh yea, we really believed all that crap! Geez! LOL!!

I was just gonna lurk & copy, see if anyone said anything helpful (read: incriminating), but then I saw it sounded just like here....lol

Did a little recruiting while i was there , unbelievably there was even a member came in who didn't know what had happened yeah, she was outta the loop alright, about 20 light years out.....if we're talkin about the same person.

Yea I hate that chat. Every time I try to read and catch up, it scrolls. Grr! I usually end up copying and pasting into notebook so I can read it to catch up.

NW hasn't lived up to its promises in the past. Why would they start now? The $50,000/month thing is just like the "we pay all members" crap. It's just BS. You know what would surprise me? If they actually did anything they said they would. Consistently. Without jerking people around.

Becky , now thats not fair !
They did exactly what they said when they called us all cheaters and refused to pay us ... pretty consistent huh ?

Shame there isnt a way to get theyre reports they have to send out to theyre investors ( too early in the morn for me to remember what those are called ) , i would love to see what the income , expenses are ...

NetWinner Visitors Down 73% Since January 1

Postby CompareRewards » Thu Jun 05, 2008 7:33 am

NetWinner is signed up as a "Quantified Publisher" in the Quantcast.com website traffic analytics program. That means NW voluntarily agreed to add a snippet of code onto their site that allows Quantcast to accurately measure their site traffic.

(Compare this to Alexa.com, which only tracks traffic from site visitors that have the Alexa toolbar downloaded and installed on their machine. Quantcast's numbers, because NW is a "Quantified Publisher," are accurate, whereas Alexa's are an estimate.)

I was examining Quantcast's NetWinner traffic report today and found a couple of interesting facts:

From mid-December through January, NW's unique site visitors were running at around 11,000 a day. As of June 3, that number is around 3,000 and trending downward.

This is the fewest number of unique site visitors in the 6 months of data available.

This is the easiest graph to read: http://www.quantcast.com/profile/traffi ... .netwinner

Quantcast's NetWinner data contains some other interesting information that might have proved beneficial to NetWinner, had they actually READ it:

9% of NetWinner's unique site visitors are classified by Quantcast as "addicts," meaning that they visit the site 30 times a month or more. This may be where NW got the "only 10% of our members will be upset by these changes" figure.

BUT: These 9% account for 66%, that's TWO-THIRDS, of the total visits to the site! When your revenue model is based on the number of ads shown, and you piss off the group of members responsible for watching at least 2/3 of your ads, that's a VERY, VERY STUPID BUSINESS MOVE.

Why do I say "at least" 2/3? Because not only were those 9% "addicts" making up 66% of the total site visits, but you can bet the farm they were staying on the site longer and playing all of their available games -- watching more ads, bringing in more revenue -- than the other groups of site visitors.

Business 101, NetWinner: You fail.

They can post all the winners they want too, but doubt anyone will see their prizes.

James, what's this about Netwinner 2.0? Do you know something the rest of us don't?

WOW. What an interesting piece of information! Thanks so much for posting this!!! I'll have to add something about this to my advertiser and ad agency letters. Just trying to gauge where May 12 would be, it looks like the spike came right around the time the ax fell and then dropped off sharply from there.

Sooooo, NW, loyal members are disposable, eh? You won't survive long enough to generate that new generation of ad viewers who think your rigged games are fun and your rigged raffles are the bomb....

Dumbasses.
